Course Outcome of P&T
1. Determine pharmacological activity and mechanism of action of drugs acting on Central Nervous System, Cardio Vascular System, Autonomic Nervous System, Respiratory system, Harmones, Autocoids, Digestive system, Chemotherapeutic agents etc.
2. Analyze adverse effects of drugs acting on CNS, CVS, ANS, Respiratory system, Harmones, Autocoids, Digestive system, Chemotherapeutic drugs etc and suggest the necessary precautions to be undertaken.
3. Evaluate whether the dose, route of administration, combination therapy is appropriate and identify drug interactions, contraindications of drugs used in obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics and other diseased conditions.
4. Suggest therapeutic use of various drugs in different diseased conditions.
